  • The Act assumes “out of and in the course of employment”- onus of proving otherwise rests on the Employer.
  • Claims must be settled within 90 days of Directors award

WIBA benefits are structured as follows:

  • Death 8 years
  • Permanent & Total Disablement (PTD) 8 years
  • Total Temporary Disability (TTD) 52 weeks
  • Medical Kshs.100,000
  • Funeral Min ksh.20,000 & max 50,000
